These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the B.L.U.E. (Better Living Unite Everyone) application and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
B.L.U.E. is a marketplace that connects homeowners and customers ("Customers") with independent service professionals ("Contractors"). B.L.U.E. is not a party to any agreement between Customers and Contractors and does not itself provide the services listed by Contractors.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Bookings and Payments
Quotes, bookings, and payments made through the Service are processed via our payment processor, Stripe. You agree to pay all applicable charges for services you book. Contractors are responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of the services they provide.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by posting false information, harassing other users, infringing intellectual property, attempting to circumvent security, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.
5. Reviews and Content
You are responsible for content you submit, including reviews, messages, and photos. You grant B.L.U.E. a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use such content to operate and promote the Service. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. B.L.U.E. does not endorse any Contractor and makes no guarantee regarding the quality, timing, or outcome of any service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, B.L.U.E. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or any interaction between Customers and Contractors.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that could cause harm.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
